To initiate the creation of a DVD that would be an all-encompassing guide to Jewish life.
The University of Michigan Hillel explored producing a DVD set that would make available content concerning what one needs to know to function as a competent and confident Jewish adult. The intended areas to cover included: Jewish home, life cycle events, Jewish time, Jewish eating, synagogue and prayer, tzedakah (charity), Israel, Jewish learning, Jewish history, conversion, community, and more.
The DVD was never produced, but in exploring and developing this content the University of Michigan Hillel generated some useful ideas and materials to use moving forward.
