To create an advanced training program for teachers to enhance Jewish education through technology.

The Board of Jewish Education of Greater New York (BJENY), which later became the Jewish Education Project, in cooperation with the New York Institute of Technology, created a Master’s degree in instructional technology for Jewish educators. Courses in this program were conducted on the weekends and through distance learning. Participants communicated and collaborated with one another on an ongoing basis through an online discussion board.

When the initial cohort completed the program, they participated in a Yom Iyun Conference to share their new skills with their peers.
