To facilitate the communal creation of five theater productions in partnership with five Jewish communities across the United States. These productions will be based on the stories of the matriarchs and patriarchs, along with the stories of local Jewish community members. Each production will premiere locally, followed by a production in New York City.
A collaboration spearheaded by performer and playwright Jon Adam Ross and funded by a Covenant Foundation grant, the inHEIRitance Project brings communities together for text study, workshops, and the sharing of personal stories in locations across the country.
The inHEIRitance Project invites participants from around the Jewish world to engage in a lasting communal narrative.
