Jewish University

To support and expand the newly created Jewish University (JU), encompassing a thematic, artistic, and cultural approach to Jewish education. The program aims to engage and connect people in meaningful lifelong Jewish learning to increase Jewish identity and a sense of community in Southern Nevada.

Through this grant, the JCC of Southern Nevada (JCCSN) will:

• Increase the staff support for JU, to create necessary systems and processes and to institutionalize the program
• Significantly expand the JU marketing program, enabling JCCSN to reach segments of the community to date untouched by traditional outreach methods
• Add special events featuring high-profile, paid lecturers or educators to raise the visibility and cachet of the program in the community.
• JU will continue to leverage partnerships with the broad range of organizations that already lend their professional and lay leaders as faculty and provide recruitment support and credibility to the program.
